"Chrysemys picta" is a hand printed, original linocut of a painted turtle with rich Cranfield caligo oil based ink and creamy Arches watercolor paper. The colors are hand painted with Schmincke watercolor paints. Inspired from the painted turtles at my local nature center pond. It is part of a series of Minnesota native turtle prints. This hand colored print is a limited edition of 3 and comes labeled x/3, titled and signed in pencil by me, the artist. Each print floats perfectly in a 5" x 7" mat opening. Your print will arrive in a protective plastic sleeve, with cardboard insert and a recyclable cardboard shipping envelope. Due to the handmade nature of the prints slight variations may occur.
