Titled "Graptemys pseudogeographica" the Latin name of the False Map Turtle. This print is part of a series of MN turtle prints and was inspired by the shy False Map turtles I have encountered on the St. Croix river system. This is an original hand-printed lino print with rich oil-based Caligo ink on creamy Arches watercolor paper. Hand-painted with Schmincke watercolor paints. Each print comes labeled x/3, a limited edition of 3, titled and signed in pencil by me, the artist. Each print floats perfectly in a 5" x 7" cut mat. Your print will arrive in a protective plastic sleeve, with a cardboard insert and a recyclable cardboard shipping envelope. Due to the handmade nature of the prints, slight variations may occur.
