Inspired by my cross country ski trips to the pristine woods in the UP Michigan. This scene is titled "Inbetween the Poplars and Tamaracks" and features a skate/freestyle cross country skier in the Northern Woods with a toasty warm cabin in the background. This blank card is hand printed from an original lino block with rich Caligo oil based ink onto a beautifully textured and deckled Strathmore paper. I then hand paint the daybreak sky and skier with Schmincke watercolors. Each card is labeled O/E (open edition), titled and signed in pencil by me the artist. The card floats perfectly in a 8"x10" mat with a 5" x 7" opening and doubles as a lovely gift. Your card will come with a matching Strathmore deckled envelope. Your card will arrive in 100% compostable shipping envelope with cardboard insert.
Due to the handmade nature slight variations may occur.
