Inspired by my cross country ski trips to the pristine woods in the UP Michigan. This scene features a couple cross country skiing through the Northern Woods under the constellation Orion. A large pine is centered in the scene. This blank card is hand printed from a lino block with rich Caligo oil based ink onto a beautifully textured and deckled Strathmore paper. I then hand paint the twighlight sky with Schmincke watercolors. Each card is labeled O/E (open edition), titled and signed in pencil by me the artist. The card floats perfectly in a 8"x10" mat with a 5" x 7" opening and doubles as a lovely gift. Your card will comes with a matching Strathmore deckled envelope. Your card will arrive in 100% compostable shipping envelope with cardboard insert.
